Sales Assistant Required in Boutique Apparel Store

As a Sales Assistant, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service, ensuring smooth store operations, and supporting overall sales activities. Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Handling:
  • > Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • > Address customer inquiries, provide product information, and recommend suitable products based on customer needs.
  • > Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.

Communication:

  • > Maintain clear and effective communication with customers, team members, and management.
  • > Provide feedback and suggestions to improve customer service and store operations.
  • > Keep customers informed about promotions, sales, and new product arrivals.

Cashier Duties:

  • > Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • > Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments, and provide correct change.
  • > Balance the cash register at the end of the shift and ensure all transactions are recorded properly.

Store Management:

  • > Assist in maintaining the store’s appearance and organization, including restocking shelves and arranging displays.
  • > Monitor inventory levels and report low stock items to management.
  • > Ensure the store is clean, tidy, and safe for customers and staff.

Team Support:

  • > Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and store goals.
  • > Participate in training sessions and team meetings to stay updated on products and store policies.
  • > Assist with other tasks as needed to support the overall operation of the store.

Requirements:

  • > Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred.
  • > Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • > Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • > Ability to handle cash and operate a POS system.
  • > Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • > A positive attitude and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

Working Hours:

  • > 9AM to 8PM
  • > 25 working days per month (Holidays/days off will be provided on weekdays barring any emergencies during a weekend).
